STANDARD CD JEWEL CASE » this is the one that started it all. Clear hard-plastic CD case with a black/grey tray, holds a front insert up to 20 pages printed from 1 to full color and a back/spine traycard.
AUDIO CD JEWEL CASE » Identical to the STANDARD CD jewel case above but with a clear tray so you can see the printing on the back of the traycard when you take the disc out.
SLIM JEWEL CASE » Same material and dimensions as the Standard jewel case above but one half of the thickness. It retains that finished look and is perfect for distrubuting at shows and events. They even make a super-slim version.
CLAM SHELL (or C SHELL) » looks like a shell, clear not so brittle plastic (slightly bendable, won't break) hinged at the bottom. Disc sits over a hub and the case snaps closed. A favorite of Trade show exhibitors to handout to potential customers.
DVD (AMARAY) CASES » this is the standard DVD case that you get when you go to the movie rental store. It's black or clear, holds one disc and possibly an insert on the inside and a printed wrap under a vinyl sleeve on the outside. Variations hold up to 8 discs.
Poly & Vinyl Sleeves
POLY OR VINYL SLEEVES » Some come with a flap to close the disc in, some with an extra pouch to put some printed material or another disc in. Some have a safety sleeve to give greater protection to the disc.
